Wuhan VS Pandemic

DI awal tahun 2020, Wuhan adalah kota pertama yang menerapkan “lockdown” karena Virus Corona yang mewabah. Namun, pemandangan yang sangat menakjubkan terjadi pekan kemarin di Wuhan, China  karena muda – mudi di kota tersebut memenuhi Wuhan Maya Water Park untuk sebuah acara Electronic Music Festival.

Dalam sebuah video, ratusan orang terlihat bersenang – senang tanpa social distancing atau protocol kesehatan lainnya. Selayaknya festival musik elektronik, muncul disc jockey atau DJ dengan headphone kuning cerah dan mulai memainkan musik di atas panggung. Pengunjung di atas air berpesta mengikuti irama musik yang dimainkan DJ dengan pakaian renang minim.

Dikutip dari France 24, Wuhan Maya Beach Water Park baru dibuka kembali Juni lalu. Tepat saat pemerintah China melonggarkan pengetatan sosial seiring nol kasus transmisi lokal.

“Pemandangan keramaian ini berbeda dengan awal 2020 lalu, di mana penguncian (lockdown) dilakukan Wuhan sejak Januari hingga 76 hari,” tulis The Australian dikutip Selasa (18/8/2020). “Meski demikian, media lokal mengklaim pengunjung yang datang hanya 50% dari kapasitas acara.”

Sementara itu, dari media yang sama, otoritas setempat menegaskan tak ada kasus baru sejak pertengahan Mei di Wuhan. Guna menggenjot ekonomi, pemerintah provinsi juga telah membuka 400 area wisata untuk mendorong turis masuk.

In early 2020, Wuhan was the first city to implement a “lockdown” due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus. However, a very amazing sight occurred last week in Wuhan, China because young people in the city filled the Wuhan Maya Water Park for an Electronic Music Festival.

In a video, hundreds of people are seen having fun without social distancing or other health protocols. Like an electronic music festival, a disc jockey or DJ appears with bright yellow headphones and starts playing music on stage. Visitors on the water feast to the beat of the music played by DJs in skimpy bathing suits.

Quoted from France 24, Wuhan Maya Beach Water Park just reopened last June. Just when the Chinese government is loosening up social tightening as there are zero cases of local transmission.

“The scene of this crowd is different from the beginning of 2020, where the lockdown was carried out by Wuhan from January to 76 days,” wrote The Australian, quoted on Tuesday (18/8/2020). “However, local media claims only 50% visitors came of event capacity. “

Meanwhile, from the same media, local authorities confirmed there had been no new cases since mid-May in Wuhan. In order to boost the economy, the provincial government has also opened 400 tourist areas to encourage tourists to enter.
